TL;DR — We don't sell your data. We don't track you. We don't store your Brightspace credentials. The extension reads your assignment data from your school's Brightspace and keeps it on your device.
Brightspace Tracker ("we", "us", "our") is an independent Chrome browser extension and web service operated by OG Inc., located in the United States. We are not affiliated with Purdue University, D2L Brightspace, or any university.

What we never collect:
The extension reads data from your school's Brightspace website using your existing logged-in browser session. It uses the same session cookies your browser already holds after you log in normally (with your school's SSO and Duo 2FA). We never see, intercept, or store your login credentials.
The extension only accesses pages on your configured Brightspace domain (e.g. purdue.brightspace.com). It does not access any other websites.
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. When you subscribe, you are redirected to Stripe's hosted payment page. We never see or handle your credit card number.
Stripe provides us with your email address after a successful payment. We use this email solely to send you your license key. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
When you purchase a subscription, we generate a unique license key and store the following in our Cloudflare KV database:
This data is stored securely on Cloudflare's infrastructure and is never sold or shared with third parties. We use it only to validate your subscription and send transactional emails (license key delivery).
We send email only for transactional purposes — delivering your license key after purchase. We do not send marketing emails or newsletters. Email delivery is handled by Resend. Resend's privacy policy is at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Brightspace Tracker is intended for use by college students (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
