By installing or using Brightspace Tracker ("the Extension"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Extension.
Brightspace Tracker is operated by OG Inc. ("we", "us", "our"), an independent company located in the United States. We are not affiliated with D2L, Brightspace, Purdue University, or any other educational institution.
A paid license key grants you access to the full features of the Extension for approximately one semester (185 days from the date of purchase). This includes:
Your license key works across devices and persists through extension reinstalls.
We offer a 7-day free trial to new users. The trial provides full access to all features. No payment information is required to start a trial. After the trial ends, you must purchase a license to continue using the Extension.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. We never see or store your credit card information.
Refunds: If you are unsatisfied with the Extension, you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase by emailing brightspacetracker@gmail.com. After 7 days, refunds are granted at our discretion.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. If you cancel, you retain access until your current period expires. No partial refunds are issued for unused time beyond the 7-day refund window.

The Extension reads assignment data from your school's Brightspace LMS using your existing logged-in browser session. It does not store, transmit, or access your Brightspace credentials. You must log in to Brightspace yourself before the Extension can sync.
The Extension depends on Brightspace's web interface. If your university customizes or restricts their Brightspace instance in ways that affect data access, the Extension may not function fully. We cannot guarantee compatibility with every institution's configuration.
The Extension is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
You are solely responsible for verifying your assignment deadlines. Brightspace Tracker is a convenience tool, not a replacement for checking your course pages directly. We are not liable for any missed assignments, late submissions, or academic consequences arising from use of the Extension.
In no event shall OG Inc. be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Extension in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update, modify, or discontinue the Extension at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain service, but we do not guarantee uptime or continued availability. If we discontinue the Extension entirely, active subscribers will receive a pro-rated refund for unused time.
The Extension is intended for college and university students. You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Extension. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Extension.
Brightspace Tracker, including its code, design, and branding, is the property of OG Inc. Your license key grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the Extension for its intended purpose during your subscription period.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Extension if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it and, if applicable, canceling your subscription through Stripe.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Indiana.
